Every occupation has the risk of accidents or hazards from the assigned work, such as injuries, fires, and chemical leaks. These can lead to harm or damage to life, property, and the environment.
This course is designed to prevent and avoid future accidents by using a safety and occupational health risk assessment method. The risk is assessed by considering the likelihood of the hazard occurring and the severity of the hazard. The risk is then analyzed to determine the risk level, acceptable risk, or unacceptable risk. This information is then used to develop an appropriate risk management plan.
